Your Guided Day Tour begins with a visit to the magnificent Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. You'll spend the afternoon exploring the enchanting Cotswolds villages, with a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water, and enjoy a traditional English pub lunch.
Early arrival at Blenheim Palace ensures an almost private viewing of this masterpiece of English Baroque architecture. You will be guided through the stunning State Rooms and marvel at all the priceless works of art and magnificent tapestries. Blenheim Palace was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, and is still inhabited by the Duke of Marlborough. During your visit, don’t miss a tour of the beautiful gardens, set in over 754 hectares of land and grab a photo opportunity at the shimmering lake.
This region of outstanding natural beauty is characterised by attractive small towns and thatched cottages of yellow Cotswold stone made prosperous by the historic wool trade.
We stop in the world famous village of Bourton-on-the-Water, the “Little Venice" of the Cotswolds. This picturesque village never fails to impress, with its elegant low bridges, tea houses and gift shops, you won’t want to leave!
Enjoy a delicious two course lunch in a traditional English pub.
