Blenheim Palace

Early arrival at Blenheim Palace ensures an almost private viewing of this masterpiece of English Baroque architecture. You will be guided through the stunning State Rooms and marvel at all the priceless works of art and magnificent tapestries. Blenheim Palace was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, and is still inhabited by the Duke of Marlborough. During your visit, don’t miss a tour of the beautiful gardens, set in over 754 hectares of land and grab a photo opportunity at the shimmering lake.

The Cotswolds

This region of outstanding natural beauty is characterised by attractive small towns and thatched cottages of yellow Cotswold stone made prosperous by the historic wool trade.

We stop in the world famous village of Bourton-on-the-Water, the “Little Venice" of the Cotswolds. This picturesque village never fails to impress, with its elegant low bridges, tea houses and gift shops, you won’t want to leave!

Downton Abbey Village

In the Village of Bampton, we visit the street where many scenes from the "Downton Abbey" TV series were filmed. You can see the Church where a number of "Downton" events were hosted, from weddings and funerals to the Downton Fair. Next to the church is Churchgate House which was used as the Crawley family home, and the old Grammer School which now houses the Bampton Library and Community Archive and served as the Downton Cottage Hospital. The street is also location for two local pubs, "The Grantham Arms" and "The Dog & Duck".
