On Saturday 24 March 2018 London hosts one of the biggest free sporting events of the year - The Cancer Research UK Boat Race and The Cancer Research UK Women's Boat Race.
Every year up to 250,000 people line the riverbanks of the Thames to create a wonderful sporting atmosphere, and to watch the Oxford University and Cambridge University eight oared rowing boats race along the famous 4.2 mile (6.8km) Championship Coarse between Putney and Mortlake.
This year, the women's race begins at 4.31pm, followed by the men's race an hour later at 5.31pm.
The main locations to spectate are:
Putney Bridge, Putney Embankment and Bishop's Park (start)
Craven Cottage, home of Fulham FC (best for the first mile)
Hammersmith and Barnes (half way)
Duke's Meadows and Chiswick Bridge (finish)
Along with the above locations, you can also watch the action unfold on a big screen at one of the Boat races in the Park events, or even live on BBC.
