Leaving London behind, your first stop of the day is the 13th century village of Lacock. This quaint traditional English village was famous for its booming wool industry during the middle ages, plus today for the modern TV and film productions including Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter which have been filmed here. Picturesque streets, historic buildings and an Abbey in the heart of the village, make this a truly memorable occasion.
As we take you on a panoramic tour of the Georgian City of Bath, marvel at some of the finest architectural sights in Europe, including Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, the Circus, Assembly Rooms and the famous Pulteney Bridge. By the end of your tour you will understand why the City of Bath has been designated an UNESCO World Heritage site.
Explore inside the famous Roman Baths, which gave the city its name. This beautiful bathing complex was built around Britain’s only hot spring, which still flows today, and has been for over 2000 years.
Enjoy an early dinner at an historic English pub, before departing to Stonehenge.
